2014

Jennifer Riddle visits Africa for the first time and sees firsthand the issues facing many in this part of the developing world.  This experience during the hHorn of Africa changes her life forever.

2015

The Marking Progress team travels to Uganda for the first time.  We opened a school for over 100 children and saw that access to clean water was an issue of vital importance in the region.

2016

Marking Progress installs our first wells and provides clean water to thousands. We also start developing sustainable agriculture programs.

2017

We have continued to install wells and enjoy the progress of our agricultural programs.  Our school has grown and become a premier accredited institution for learning in the village of Kalagi.

2018

We are expanding out of original home base of Mityana and working with a network of locals to provide tools for sustainability to communities across the country of Uganda.

2019

We are excited to take on abandoned boreholes in the Mubende district of Uganda which will directly impact 91 broken boreholes this year keeping over 100,000 thousand without clean water.

The village of Missra from Gambia, West Africa reached out to us for help to support their mission of female genital mutilation and we said yes.  .
